Sunday Morning Meditation in One Sentence
To think that a creature with a brain that weighs a mere three pounds, that lives on an unremarkable planet in a backwater galaxy, that in truth spends much of its time planning the subjugation and demise of its own, is the highest form of intelligence in the universe, is probably a good starting point for asking as simple of a question as, “If it isn’t us (who are the highest intelligence), what is?”

On this day, my blessing to you, my friend;
“May the hamster exercise wheel that you have spent your life running on, be made visible.”
“May you have the courage to examine you. Both the you the world knows and the you the world knows nothing of.”
“May you choose kindness to all else and in spite of all else.”
“Reach to achieve what you are destined to achieve by standing on the shoulders of those who cleared the way and not by standing on their necks.”
Kohelet the Preacher, stated “All is vanity! All is Vanity!”, That in no way means it has to continue to be that way.
They say the heart of man at it’s best, is dark and evil, and they respond accordingly. Perhaps it is better to see the heart of man as a fragment of unleavened bread that fell to the floor from which the Lord of the table reaches down and redeems it, invoking The 5 Second Rule.
Examine yourself to see if what you see in others is not just a reflection of you without the sunglasses.
In all you do and say come from a foundation of Kindness, for there is someone in the crowd whose highest goal is to model themselves to be just like you.
